The Gallup Police Department will hold a one-day recruiting event on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 451 Boardman Drive.
Applicants can apply, take the written exam, finish the physical assessment and sit for the board interview in a single session. Doors open at 3 p.m. for applications, and testing starts after.
The event is open to anyone who has already applied or is interested in applying. The department asks applicants to bring professional interview attire and athletic gear for the fitness test, and recommends practicing the online NPOST exam beforehand.
Thirteen people came to the department's first recruiting drive on Sept. 18.
