The City of Gallup is hiring a full-time city attorney to serve as its chief legal counsel, the city said.
The job pays $110,000 to $140,000 a year and is based on-site in Gallup. The city is looking for a legal professional with at least eight years of experience, and describes the role as shaping municipal policy and protecting the public interest.
The city lists a municipal benefits package with health insurance and the New Mexico PERA retirement plan.
