Navajo police ask for help finding Laverne Sandoval, missing since Aug. 21

The Navajo Police Department said Laverne Sandoval, 48, was last seen Aug. 21 in Cuba, New Mexico. She was last seen getting into a white Ford pick-up truck. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crownpoint District at 505-786-2050.

Help is being sought to find a woman missing since Aug. 21, in a notice from the Crownpoint District.

The Navajo Police Department said Laverne Sandoval, 48, was last seen on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at 11 a.m. in Cuba, New Mexico. She was last seen getting into a white Ford pick-up truck.

Sandoval is 5 feet 3 inches tall and 150 pounds, with brown eyes and auburn hair, according to the department.

Anyone who has seen her or knows where she is has been asked to call the Crownpoint District at 505-786-2050.
