Gallup-McKinley County Schools will hold a family engagement event on autism and behavior support at home on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The session runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Education Development Center, 345 Basilio Dr. Kayla Lopez, a board certified behavior analyst with UNM CDD, will present, and the district's poster describes the session as practical strategies for building skills at home, supporting positive behavior and empowering families.

All families, caregivers and community members are welcome, the district said. Registration is open to reserve a seat, and onsite registration is welcome.
