The Gallup Police Department is hiring officers, the department said in a recruiting video made with the Gallup Fire Department.
Non-certified recruits start at $24 an hour and move to $32 an hour once certified. Certified lateral hires start at $32 an hour, and the department says that starting pay can increase with experience.
Benefits include 90/10 health insurance, dental and vision coverage, 15 holidays, annual and sick leave, New Mexico Public Employees Retirement Association membership, Aflac insurance, tuition assistance for job-related courses, a confidential employee assistance program for counseling, and deferred compensation.
The posting does not name an application deadline.
