The mobile food pantry at the University of New Mexico-Gallup now operates Monday through Thursday, the college said, and it published a September schedule of where the cart will be and when.
The pantry is free to any UNM-Gallup student. There is no application and no limit stated: students are told to take what they want from the cart, which is stocked with food and snacks and moves to different spots around campus each week.
On Mondays and Wednesdays it is at the Student Services and Technology Center on the first floor and at Calvin Hall on the second floor. On Tuesdays and Thursdays it is at the Health Careers Center and the Nursing Careers Center. Both days run in two windows, 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
The pantry is sponsored by the Student Resource Center in Gurley Hall, room 1127, which also keeps breakfast snacks for students who ask.
