Holly Holm meets fans at the Fire Rock Casino, through a power outage

A major power outage hit that same evening, and the Navajo Police Department said its officers and the casino security were fully involved in keeping guests safe. On Friday evening, the Fire Rock Casino welcomed Holly Holm as its meet and greet guest, according to the Navajo Police Department.
Holm connected with fans throughout the evening, the department said, and she signed and took photos with casino staff at the conclusion of the meet and greet. The casino is in Churchrock, N.M.
The department said its Special Operation Bureau Casino Unit, along with the Fire Rock Casino Security, were hard at work behind the scenes keeping the fans and guests safe. Even with a major power outage that same evening, it said, its officers and the casino security were fully involved to help ensure a safe and secure experience for everyone.
The department thanked the casino staff for their coordination efforts for the event, and said their team made sure Holm was surrounded by lots of love and even a few fist bumps and fighting stance poses along the way.
Holm is ranked as one of the greatest female professional boxers of all time and she is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, the department said.
