Water service on Mark Avenue between Zecca Drive and Piano Avenue will be shut off from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, while Dallago Corporation adds a new waterline and gate valve at the Little Sisters of the Poor, the City of Gallup Water Department said.

The work is part of ongoing water system improvements. The city said the installation may run past the scheduled window, and asked residents and businesses to make any necessary arrangements in advance.
