The Street Art Festival returns to Courthouse Square Sept. 25-27
The chalk art mural competition comes back to Courthouse Square for three days, Sept. 25 to 27. It runs again as a fundraiser for the Gallup Burrito Project. Mural artists, entertainers, vendors, sponsors and volunteers are wanted; school and youth groups register free.

The Street Art Festival returns to Courthouse Square in downtown Gallup on the weekend of Sept. 25, 26 and 27, gallupARTS said.
The chalk art mural competition is in its second year and runs again as a fundraiser for the Gallup Burrito Project. Organizers said they need mural artists above all, along with entertainers, food and craft vendors, sponsors and volunteers, to "color the pavement downtown".
School and other youth groups can register free of charge. Organizers said everyone is welcome and no experience is necessary, and asked anyone planning to take part to fill out a form at forms.gle/1kHd6K5XYhDQic5VA to help them plan.
The announcement gives the three days but no start or end times, no registration fee for artists who are not part of a youth group, and no deadline to sign up.
