Loom Gallery is looking for Native artists for a winter group show

Loom Gallery is asking Native artists to submit work for a group show that will hang in Gallup through the winter, with a deadline of Oct. 7.

The gallery said it is seeking Native artists to showcase their artwork for a group show during the winter months between ArtsCrawl, and that all media are accepted. It listed show dates of Oct. 10, 2026 and March 6, 2027, with installation Sept. 28 and de-installation March 8, 2027. The show opens Oct. 10 at 7 p.m. during ArtsCrawl.

Artists can enter by email or letter. Loom asked for the artist's name, contact information, a website or social media account if they have one, and a short biography or artist statement. It also asked for an image and description of the work with dimensions -- or a description of proposed work not yet made -- and three to five work samples, copies only.

Letters can be dropped off at ART123 Gallery, 123 W. Coal Ave., during business hours: Tuesday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
