Navajo Nation voters have until Sept. 24 to register for the general election

The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Voter registration closes Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. Absentee voting begins Oct. 5, and ballot requests are due Oct. 19.

Navajo Nation voters have until Wednesday, Sept. 24, to register for the 2026 general election, according to a Navajo Election Administration notice posted by the Pinedale Chapter.

The general election is Tuesday, Nov. 3. Registration closes at 5 p.m. on Sept. 24.

Absentee voting begins Oct. 5. Completed absentee ballot request applications must reach the Navajo Election Administration by 5 p.m. Oct. 19. The last day to vote in person at any Navajo Nation election office is Oct. 30 at 5 p.m.
