Gallup sets its next city meet-and-greet for Sept. 16, with a focus on city jobs

The city of Gallup will hold its next City + Community Meet & Greet event on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The meeting runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at El Morro Events Center. Staff from Animal Control, Human Resources, Community Development, and Tourism and Marketing will be there, the city said.
This month's meeting is built around city hiring. The city's flyer asks residents to come find out about jobs currently open at the city and to ask questions of human resources staff before applying.
The city describes the meet-and-greet as a monthly community meeting where residents can connect with city departments.
