Navajo Arts and Crafts Enterprise's list of Best of winners from the 104th Ceremonial Exhibit Hall. Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial

The 104th Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial has named the Best of winners from its Exhibit Hall, with Marion Nez taking Best of Show for a pictorial textile.

The winners: Textiles — Marion Nez, pictorial (Best of Show). Kachinas — Ernest Honanie, 20-inch Chief Katsina. Metalsmithing — Trent Lee-Anderson, three-strand 18-karat gold Cleopatra-style necklace. Lapidary — Quentin Quam Sr., mosaic inlay lariat multi-bird necklace. Baskets — Doris Kewenvoyouma, yucca coil basket in a turtle-and-cloud design. Tribal arts — Lawrence Sam Jr., "Checking the Heard" storyteller.

Youth — Elias Harvey, stamped silver pottery. Paintings — Harvey Begaye, "Yei Winter." Sculptures — Raymond M. Chee Sr., "Culture Saves Freedom" wood carving. Pottery — Jared Tso of Charles King Gallery, black blanket jar. Photography — Skylar Blackbull, "Ceremonial."
