Laverne Sandoval has been located and she is safe, the Navajo Police Department said in an update on 9/8/26.
Sandoval had been reported missing from the Crownpoint District. She was last seen on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., in Cuba, New Mexico. The department said the flyer has been updated.
