Gallup-McKinley County Schools is hiring for four Special Education Administrative Specialist positions, a leadership job the district lists at a salary of $100,027 on a 236-day contract.

The posting describes a role supporting the organization, development and success of districtwide special education programs. Whoever is hired would lead and mentor staff, strengthen instructional practices, support IEP and compliance efforts, and work with schools and families.

The district requires a master's degree in an educational or counseling field, a Level 3 Instructional Leader License, and teaching experience in a special education program. It says it prefers a master's or terminal degree in special education, a New Mexico administrator license, and experience supervising or evaluating special education teachers and support staff.
