Two Crownpoint rodeo athletes reach national finals

Two Crownpoint High School student-athletes have earned places at the National High School Finals Rodeo after competing against the best rodeo talent in New Mexico all season.

Senior Amy Murphy finished third in breakaway roping, qualifying for the national stage. Junior Tryan Jodie captured the New Mexico state championship in steer wrestling.
